CMOS Device and Circuit engineer

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Menlo Park, CA

INanoBio is developing pioneering technologies at the confluence of nanotechnology, systems biology and machine learning, to resolve complex disease biology into simple data, for early cancer/disease diagnosis and personalized therapeutics. We are a tight knit team with a culture of excellence.

This position is within our devices group that develops INanoBio’s semiconductor sensor platforms for various healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Circuit design, systems on chip (SOC) design, ASIC design and semiconductor packaging
  • Work with internal process engineers, vendors, semiconductor foundry partners and external experts to successfully design and implement innovative products
  • Perform root cause analysis, prepare reports and presentations

Requirements

  • PhD in electrical engineering or related fields
  • At least 5 years of circuit design experience Strong low-current analog circuit design expertise
  • Strong CMOS device physics fundamentals
  • Device, circuit simulation expertise
  • Proven publication history
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Post doctoral Fellow: Molecular Biology

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Tempe, AZ

INanoBio has an opening for postdoctoral researcher with strong experimental background in molecular biology, biochemistry and clinical research. Prior experience with cell based and cell free in-vitro assays, enzyme functional assays, clinical biomarker discovery studies, protein synthesis, transcriptomic analysis is desired.

Post-Doctoral Fellow: Device characterization

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and improve analysis, characterization, and test procedures of semiconductor materials and devices
  • Work with internal process engineers, semiconductor foundry partners and external experts to successfully resolve issues
  • Work with external vendors for development of custom testing and characterization solutions
  • Perform root cause analysis, prepare reports and presentations

Requirements

  • PhD in electrical engineering, materials engineering or semiconductor physics
  • Experience with Fully depleted FETs or FinFETs or nanowire transistor nano-fabrication
  • Required CMOS Electrical characterization expertise: C-V and I-V measurements and analysis, DLTS, resistivity and mobility characterization methods
  • Desired materials characterization experience: SEM, FIB, EDX, Auger, XPS, ion beam, X ray spectroscopies, TEM
  • CMOS device simulation experience desired but not required
  • Strong CMOS device physics fundamentals
  • Strong publication history
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Design, fabrication and procurement of microfluidics and associated systems
  • Implementation and characterization of molecular mono-layers on solid surfaces
  • Work with internal process engineers, vendors, semiconductor foundry partners and external experts to successfully resolve issues
  • Perform root cause analysis, prepare reports and presentations

Requirements

  • PhD in electrical engineering, materials engineering, physics or related fields
  • Expertise in semiconductor nanofabrication: use of tools and processes in semiconductor cleanrooms, microfluidics and surface chemistry
  • Experience with imaging and characterization TEM, SEM, FIB, EDX, ion beam, X ray spectroscopies
  • Experience with biosensors is a plus
  • Strong publication history

Analyst (Business Operations)

Job Description

We are looking for a high energy, detailed oriented multitasker for a business analyst position in a fast-paced healthcare startup. No previous experience is required. Some general work experience in a part time job that demonstrates your familiarity with business case research, excel modeling, operations, accounting, human resources, IT or related business functions will be a plus. Will be assisting senior management, accounting and human resources. We are a pioneering healthcare start up developing cancer diagnostics with locations in Tempe, AZ and Menlo Park, CA. We are a tight knit team with a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Create market reports, excel models, presentations and other ad hoc business-related reports
  • Provide proactive, high-quality support, including assisting in corporate records, human resources, vendor coordination, travel logistics and organizing team activities and other meetings and events
  • Assist with Information Technology (IT) related activities
  • Communicate with external accountants, attorneys, and vendors
  • Coordinate office logistics and manage external vendors and contractors
  • Assist Accountants with audits, reconciliation, spot checks and data entry

Skills

  • A college degree with a good GPA as a proof of your work ethic
  • Expert in Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Good modeling and report preparation
  • Excellent business communication (verbal and written) is required
  • Good analytical, negotiation and people skills along with being open to feedback are required
  • Good knowledge of Information Technology concepts like email, networks etc will be a plus
