Grants Program Manager

INanoBio is developing pioneering technologies at the confluence of nanotechnology, systems biology and machine learning, to resolve complex disease biology into simple data, for early cancer/disease diagnosis and personalized therapeutics. We are looking for driven researchers uo the challenge of to melding cutting edge technologies into responsive grant proposals to lead our non-dilutive funding team. The position is based out of our office in Phoenix, Arizona.


  • Analyze funding soliciations and RFPs from federal agencies and private foundations
  • Prepare and submit competitive high quality proposals that leverage our products and technologies
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external research partners and collaborators
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key funding agencies and program managers


  • Doctorate in PhD in molecular biology, disease pathology, systems biology, related fields
  • Background in either cancers or neurodegenerative diseases is desired, but not required
  • A track record of successfully obtaining funding through grant proposals to federal agencies
  • At least 7 years of post doctoral experience

Office Assistant/ Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a high energy, detailed oriented multitasker who can assist on projects and maintain the office in a fast-paced healthcare startup. No previous experience is required. Some general work experience in a part time job that demonstrates your familiarity with operations, accounting, human resources, IT or related business functions will be a plus. Will be assisting senior management, accounting and human resources. We are a pioneering healthcare start up developing cancer diagnostics with locations in Scottsdale, AZ and Menlo Park, CA. We are a tight knit team with a culture of excellence.


  • Provide proactive, high-quality, general administrative support, including assisting in corporate records, human resources, vendor coordination, travel logistics and organizing team activities and other meetings and events
  • Maintain company facilities, office logistics and coordinate with facilities managers and contractors as required.
  • Assist Accountants with audits, reconciliation, spot checks and data entry
  • Prepare reports in excel from data provided


  • A college degree with a good GPA as a proof of your work ethic
  • Good computer and MS-Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) skills are required
  • Good analytical, negotiation and communication (verbal and written) skills along with being open to feedback are required

Post doctoral Fellow: Molecular Biology

INanoBio has an opening for postdoctoral researcher with strong experimental background in molecular biology, biochemistry and clinical research. Prior experience with cell based and cell free in-vitro assays, enzyme functional assays, clinical biomarker discovery studies, protein synthesis, transcriptomic analysis is desired. The position is in Phoenix, Arizona.

Research Scientist

INanoBio is seeking a Research Scientist to join our fast-paced multi-disciplinary molecular diagnostics & devices team to develop high accuracy semiconductor sensors and instrumentation for non-invasive diagnostics, biomarker discovery, drug discovery and drug screening. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the engineering and fabrication functions and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of biologists, engineers and clinicians. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in the development of innovative technologies for personalized healthcare.

  • Design, fabricate and improve semiconductor MEMS components, microfluidics and nano-sensors utilized in INanoBio’s diagnostic platforms
  • Perform electrical and material characterization of bio-sensors
  • Work with semiconductor foundries on high throughput manufacturing of biosensor chips and other semiconductor components
  • Perform failure analysis and root cause analysis on sensor functionality, quality, yield, and throughput issues and implement appropriate solutions
  • Support development of in-vitro and ex-vivo cell based assays on INanoBio’s proprietary sensor based platforms for biomarker screening, biomarker detection, disease diagnosis and drug discovery
  • Design and fabricate microfluidic components and integrate them into diagnostic devices
  • Design, build, optimize, and validate custom data acquisition systems for multiplexed ultra-low current measurement of a large array of sensors
  • Work on data collection and analysis using statistical software.
  • Lead interdisciplinary diagnostic test development projects from concept through validation
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environments
  • Supervise research associates and lab technicians

Requirements: Ph.D. in electrical engineering, material science, chemistry, physics, or related science or engineering discipline and At least 24 months of hand-on experience in semiconductor fabrication and cleanroom procedures

  • At least 12 months of experience in semiconductor characterization and analysis techniques
  • At least 12 months of experience in characterizing biomolecular interactions using biosensors
  • At least 6 months of experience in the use of switching matrix or multiplexer and source measurement unit for multi-analyte switching measurement
  • At least 12 months of experience with development of high throughput assay, biomaterial immobilization techniques
  • At least one paper in a peer reviewed scientific publications and two presentations at major scientific meetings
  • At least 12 months of experience in 3D CAD (Solidworks preferred)
  • At least 6 months of mask layout tools (AutoCAD preferred)
  • At least 6 months of Labview or other VI tools
  • At least 6 months of statistical software like Minitab or SYSTAT
